For Nietzsche the Übermensch is a development of man towards a higher form of being. Extrapolating ideas from Darwinism Nietzsche considers that the human being ( Mensch ) is an incomplete being, since every animal gives rise to something superior. It is a bridge between the ape and the Übermensch (a term that has been translated frequently, although not with excessive fortune, as 'superman' or 'superman', there are authors who prefer its translation as 'ultraman'). The man is, therefore, something that must be jumped, surpassed. The Übermensch is that being that has a noble morality, and he accepts the will to power and loves his fate. He is a legislator man, he creates his own moral norms of all kinds, he is also a man who submits things to his will, he is a vital man: he loves life and this world. He is also a being that accepts the eternal return, because when he makes a decision he really wants to make it, and he does not regret his actions. He knows that life is part pain and part pleasure, but he does not deny it. the Übermensch is contrasted with the last man.
